What should I do after submitting my application + what can I do while waiting?

Hi everyone,

I’ve just submitted my application and also sent a follow-up email, but honestly I’m a bit unsure what I should be doing next :sweat_smile:

This is my first time going through something like this, so I don’t really know the usual process. I’m not sure what happens after submission or how long it normally takes to get a response.

Just wanted to ask:

  • What usually happens after you submit an application?

  • How long do people normally wait for a reply?

  • Since I already sent an email, should I just wait now or follow up again later?

  • What can I do in the meantime while waiting?

  • Any tips on how to stay productive during this waiting period?

Right now I feel like I’m just waiting and not really sure what else I should be doing, so any advice would really help.

just wait for now, if staff has any further questions they will send a follow-up email, usually staff is very diligent in checking so I wouldn’t expect more than a business week.
