Hi! I have submitted my application to become a curator two weeks ago, and I’m wondering when, where, and what form should I be expecting any response, if any. I understand that the administrators can be very busy, and I appreciate you guys’ hard work a lot, so I don’t mind waiting!

you can always email e.g. Tony (Iwane) directly — I did when my curator application was pending and he was quite prompt (and very kind to my less experienced past self) in responding!

Hello Tony, I am facing a very similar issue. It has been over a month since my application, and i’m wondering if the form failed to submit. I would like to know in case I need to re-apply.
I sent you an email about a week back and have not gotten a response. No rush, just making sure you didn’t miss it. Should I bump up the email in your inbox? the email i used is akunik@ufl.edu

Hi Andrew, I replied 10 days ago but forgot to CC your email address in the reply (applications get emailed from no-reply@inaturalist.org). I re-sent my response just now, sorry about that.

I’d applied to be a curator this past week but realized I hadn’t gotten any sort of confirmation email about the application being received. I just applied again in case the other one didn’t go through somehow and still nothing in inbox or junk folders. I saw a couple of closed topics from people about similar but thought the issue had been fixed. Any help would be most appreciated.
I moved the above question to a previous thread with the same question and reopened it for discussion.

No, it’s my fault for not emailing and saying we received an application. The application gets sent via no-reply@inaturalist.org so the automatic reply never gets sent to the actual applicant. Something we need to update.

I saw the email reply, responded, got a bounceback for the no-reply address after replying all but it looked like it went through to the help address. I waited a couple of days and then replied to the help address just to make sure that it did and have not heard anything from any of my emails. I understand that you’re busy but just want to make sure that my answer to your question did get through.
I responded to your last email 3 days ago, it was sent to the email address linked to your iNaturalist account.
