What would make it easier for you to do more identifying?

My own feature request from ages ago: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/create-two-reviewed-categories-hide-and-follow-up/8890/5

I want to “hide” observations I never want to see again, so that I can have “reviewed” for things I might someday want to go through again later, such as after I’ve learned some new species characteristic.

I usually do the opposite, who doesn’t like helping them? And tons of wrong stuff is what doesn’t let you leave that.

Totally, and thanks for doing it! But I admit that sometimes I’m not in the mood to go through observations by less experienced users

Personally, I suspect that awards for numbers of IDs can result in some users treating making IDs as a numbers game… making IDs just to boost their ranking whether they really know the species or not. Just saying… such happens in most arenas where being prolific is recognized as a status in itself.

There’re numerous other threads about experts and how we shoud treat them and about some agreers, etc. Just searh for it. @rowan_m

You can change the number of observations per page. Just add &per_page=XX, e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?taxon_id=47118&per_page=80.
(This and other search tips can be found in the search wiki.)

I’m going to close this thread as it would be best to make concrete feature requests which can be evaluated by the community.
