Step 1: Open the link I have provided above.
Step 2: Do you see common names? I don’t.
I opened it in an incognito tab and same thing happens.
I can see common names in my own observations. Have they been made invisible in the global explore tab? Because I can see them as soon as I filter by location.

What is the “names” setting set to under “content & display”?
If it is set to something which should display common name, you might want to manually set your locale (this setting should be directly under the names one) as the only other reason I can think of is that iNaturalist is screwing up when getting your locale and is not able to populate common names as a result.
Yes vernacular names are displaying for me.
Thank you! It works now. Setting the locale did the job.
You can also choose up to 3 languages for common names.
