Without Life Stage Parameter doesn't work correctly

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: Add Without Annotation: Life Stage

Step 2: Click on a life stage in the other dropdown menu

Step 3: Watch as it excludes all observations with any Life Stage annotation

Is there some way to edit the URL parameter to bypass this bug?

Pretty sure this the same bug as this, which looks to be a year old.

I had this exact problem trying to filter larvae out of an identify search.

For this specific problem, I think I found out how to do it:

Click on Life Stage: Larva, and then in the URL, change term_value_id=6 to without_term_value_id=6.

Edit: You might also need to add term_id=1 for this to work… which kind of defeats the point.
