Please fill out the following sections to the best of your ability, it will help us investigate bugs if we have this information at the outset. Screenshots are especially helpful, so please provide those if you can.
Platform (Android, iOS, Website): Android
App version number, if a mobile app issue (shown under Settings or About): 1.30.15 (608)
Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) :
Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.): Observation shows up as “North American River Otter” in some screens, but the only active IDs are Common Racoon and Carnivorans with Mammals and River Otter withdrawn. It only shows up like that if I access the observation from “activity” and it doesn’t affect the web version of iNat
I would guess, but am not sure, that this is an issue with caching on Android/not updating to the most recent CID status. When the otters ID was added, the observation CID would have been at the otter.
I just cleared cache then reopened the app and the bug was still showing. I then cleared cache and forced stopped before opening the app again and the bug was still showing.
Also, I don’t know if this matters to anyone since it would be incorrect either way, but the notification I’m using to access the observation was the one that notified me of the second person that said “racoon,” not the one that notified me that someone said “otter.”
Here i found an example. Community ID is “Lysimachia arvensis” while the ID displayed is “Unknown” which was the original upload ID. No IDs withdrawn or deleted.
