This is showing info from EOL now, and no whale shark, so I’ll close this report.

Manually disabling a link to Wikipedia prevents the whaleshark, but it definitely shouldn’t have a whaleshark regardless, so I’m leaving it as-is for now until someone else can take a look.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that the Wikipedia page is a redirect to another species ?

As far as I know (I haven’t looked at the code), iNat only uses the scientific name when trying to match to Wikipedia articles. If a scientific name is a redirect on Wikipedia, the About tab on iNat will automatically show the article that it is being redirected to on Wikipedia. Same issue was repo…
