one more note: i guess if anyone comes across similar-looking issues, they can open up the developer tools in their browser and look for an HTTP 422 error in either the console or the network monitor, associated with a request to https://api.inaturalist.org/v1/places/… if you’re not seeing this, then it could be something else. (but i think these are probably all the same thing.)
