My “Unread” topics tab keeps showing 1, but there isn’t any. It disappears when I click it and comes back when I click off of it.
(The blue dot by “Topics” is also referring to “Unread;” there is nothing else there)
If you scroll to the bottom of this topic and view the Suggested area, do any unread topics appear/does clicking any of them clear the alert?

I clicked and read all the related topics, but the notification is still there
I sporadically encounter this bug too, but have never been able to consistently reproduce it

i think i’ve seen this when there was activity on a thread that was later deleted or restricted. the problem goes away eventually though.

I have been having the same or a similar bug for months.
For me, it shows up as Latest (1) and Unread (1). At latest, there is nothing, but the (1) persists. When I go to unread, there is also nothing, but then the (1) at latest and unread goes away.
This is a Discourse bug since it is on the forum. I don’t know what iNat mods or staff can do about it, besides relaying the message to Discourse.
