Creating Albums?

Is it possible to group all photos from one day into something like an ‘album’ so we can share the results with others?
For example…I did a moth night and photographed over 50 species. I don’t want to send 50 individual photos to those who were present but would like to send them a link that would then show just those moth photos from that night.

like this?

Yes, I think that is exactly what I am looking to do.

it’ll take a comma delimited list of user_id’s as well… so if there were others w you. welcome to the forum btw.

So I see I can make other albums simply by changing the date in the web address. That will work for me…but I’m curious as to how you created that album for me in the first place.

On the website there is also a “calendar” link on your dashboard/profile that will take you to a page where your observations are displayed for each day.

Thank you. I found it under “Filters” and that seems like it will work.

The calendar page is slightly different than the display in Explore (and perhaps a bit quicker to access). You may find that you prefer one or the other more.

I have not found a calendar page

Are you accessing iNat via the website or one of the apps? I specified that this feature is on the website; in general, the website is more amenable to applying advanced search filters.

I am using the website

Interesting! I don’t see that page unless I go to www.inaturalist.org. Once I’m in iNaturalist, I don’t see a way to get back to that page. But at least now I know where it is. Thank you!

From any tab you can click the iNaturalist logo in the top left corner of the screen to go to your home page

Or you can click on the down arrow beside the round circle with your avatar at the far right of the top menu bar, which will give you a list of pages that includes your dashboard (the landing page) and the calendar.

That works. And I was successfully able to send results to people who were at the moth event!
