Sometimes photos that would otherwise be really great taxon images are too zoomed out or positioned awkwardly in the frame. Asking the observer to crop and repost rarely works. It would be amazing if we could crop photos in the taxon photo chooser. Even better if we could have an outline of the default thumbnail size and be able to position within that.
Keeping the original, and adding the cropped version as a ‘new’ photo?
Definitely keep the original, I think the original observation should remain untouched. The edited photo should still link back to the observation though.
