Delayed notifications - Identifications to observations won't show up in notifications

Description of problem: I haven’t gotten any notifications in neither the mobile app nor the website are giving me notifications for IDs being made on my observations. However, new observations by people I follow are still showing up as normal (at least on the website).

No, everything is on.

I have the same problem. The notification not lost, only delay.

For me, they are delayed for 5~10 hours.

Same issue, and I’ve never had a problem before, as I always got my identification notification as soon as they came in.

I think they have some problems with their messaging system, rabbitMQ etc.

Same here, ~8 hour delay on notifications today for whatever reason

Just here to say I’m experiencing the same. I’ve tried the browser and iNat app (Android). I just suddenly stopped receiving notifications at all (although I now realize they are just very delayed). Identifications and mentions/comments are all delayed.

Almost five hour delay at the moment. Notification says 8:31 PM:

Same here, I just started receiving notifications from 9 hours ago.

I also got a bunch of notifications from comments made through the day only at 8:31pm. But it also seems to be happening with observations in my feed, only a single one showing up in the last 24 hours at 11:38pm(AEST) despite being uploaded more than a day earlier, so not sure if it’s fixed, would assume it’s a connected issue though.

There was a slowdown last night (US time), which caused this backup. Hoping to catch up later today, sorry about that.
