I’m guessing this is just a edge case where the new ID also was made inactive, but shouldn’t this iNaturalist updated ID have be auto-updated again instead of staying at an inactive taxon?
I just remembered people can opt out of taxon updates like this, I bet this user opted out after this taxon swap, but before a future taxon swap.
There are a bunch that got stranded at Scarina.
As a child of Scarini, I think it was supposed to have gotten moved when Scarini got swapped into Scarinae?
