Display original photo filename

For me and I imagine also for others it would be VERY useful if the original name of the uploaded image file/s could be retained somewhere. Following subsequent IDs, it would be a great help in finding and updating the file in the archives. I currently get round the problem by adding the filename as a label, but it’s not ideal. Thanks.

As discussed previously, it should be an option to activate in profile settings. It shouldn’t be an api thing, but something every user can easily achieve.

I think only the observer should be able to see it, like how we handle GPS EXIF data and such for obscured observations.

Added an issue for this here: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/3062 Also changed the request title because we do store that info, we just don’t display it.

OK, if you go to the page of a photo you uploaded you should see the filename of the photo. For example, here’s what I see when I go to https://www.inaturalist.org/photos/133381222

Only the person who uploaded the photo will see that information (when they’re logged in, of course).
