Duplicate observations in search results

Description of problem:

Experiment #1:
Step 1: Request URL #1
Step 2: Input “Carex” into the Species field
Step 3: Obtain four (4) results (which is correct)

Experiment #2:
Step 1: Request URL #2
Step 2: Input “Carex” into the Species field
Step 3: Obtain eight (8) results (which is incorrect)

Experiment #3:
Step 1: Request URL #3
Step 2: Input “Carex” into the Species field
Step 3: Obtain eight (8) results (which is also incorrect)

Note that URLs #2 and #3 both have a page parameter while URL #1 does not.

I can replicate this bug on either Chrome or Firefox.

Each link for me shows 4 Carex observations.
