Email notifications not working

Description of problem: when someone mentions me or messages me I don’t get an email notification. I have checked my spam folder.

Step 1: Someone tagged my in a journal using @deedesie I would have expected to get an email notifcation?

Do you have it turned on in your settings?

I had, but it is resolved anyay… I had too many notifications (identifications) in my email and the ‘mentions’ were buried right at the bottom. my bad.
