Frame jumping and picture freezing in Seek (Android version)

@tiwane
Don’t know if this occurs on iPhone as well, but I found these issues on several Android devices:

  1. The App sometimes crashed after taking a picture, so that the photo is not stored, but more often the screen is not responsive anymore (the camera symbol faded out) but eventually the photo is transmitted (see screenshots of the spitting spider before and after taking the shot)

  2. The frame jumps every time I click a picture. This was also consistently happening on different devices, but of the same brand. In the example, the phone was fixed, so any movement was prevented. The final photo is only shown for the fraction of a second, so it is already fading out, but I think the issue is clearly visible.
    Can others replicate?

Is this still happening you with the newer version of Seek?

No, that has been working for a while now.
There is still the problem with the magnification though (I posted it elsewhere):
The first magnification step is a big jump, usually more than 2x. When one further zooms in, the transition is smoother - but then the resolution is already quite bad, so not much of use there.

But concerning the issues described here, it’s fine.

Thanks for following up! The zoom is definitely a bit strange on my phone too.
