I’ve been struggling with why a search isn’t picking up a specific observation. I’m usually pretty good at getting the parameters set up, but I’m obviously missing something.

appearing in this search … https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?iconic_taxa=Insecta&place_id=186491&taxon_id=120032&threatened=true&verifiable=any
It’s got something to do with the “threatened” status apparently. I toggled that off and the observation appeared. I don’t know how that parameter works though.
Checked if there was a change in conservation status, and I see a few from March 2025: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/120032/history I’m not very familiar with the status definitions, but this seems like why?
“Threatened” means the taxon has a conservation status entered on iNat of “Near Threatened” or “worse” for that area (see Help page).
