How can I find a curator for a specific taxon?

Is there a list somewhere of curators responsible for specific taxa?

Unfortunately, there is not. The associations of individual curators with individual taxa are completely informal at least as far as the rules go. Though many curators are subject matter experts, some of them have no biological training at all. Their expertise or lack thereof is not tracked by iNaturalist staff.

You can search flags to see what curators have been active in a particular group and have commented on or resolved flags. You can also raise a flag on a relevant taxon that needs curation and see who responds. Or check the top identifiers/observers of a taxon and see who among them is a curator. As has been mentioned, there are no formal responsibilities on iNat and some taxa have no active curators.

For example, here is a search of flags relating to the genus Elodea.

Certain higher taxa have taxon curators assigned to them, e.g. Scott added himself as the taxon curator for Diptera: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/47822/taxonomy_details

I think this is reserved for taxa locked for higher taxonomy changes?
