How to upload voice memos from iphone onto inat efficiently

Hello,

I have a bunch of audio recordings of birds on my iphone in the voice memos app, but I can’t directly upload these onto inat on my phone. Does anybody know a good way to add these?

Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to iNat

When I’ve been in a pinch, I’ve shared the voice memos to the files app and then uploaded them through the website in safari.
That’s probably the best I can come up with

I share my voice memos to a dedicated folder on my Google drive (which also serves as a backup of all my bird song records), then download them on my PC, and after that I upload them on iNat.

I’ll often make a media-less observation in the field so I can capture the date, time, and location, then airdrop the sound to my computer and add it to the observation.
