Hello, just wondering if there’s a way to view a longer list of identification notifications on the drop-down arrow beside my name photo at the top right of the page? Or even the complete list that I can scroll through?
For example, sometimes it will say there are 22 notifications, but when I look, there are only 10, and I can’t find any way to view more. There’s only a ‘View Your Dashboard’ option at the bottom, no way to access the longer list. Is there something I‘m missing?
In the “view your dashboard” option, you can select the “your content” option, which lists all of the activity on your observations.

No worries!! The UI can be kind of confusing :)
the first time you click on the speech bubble in the top-right corner of the website, it should be able to list all 22 notifications. however, when you do that all of those will be listed as viewed. so if you go to another page and click on the bubble again, you will get a more limited list of just 10 of the most recent notifications.
so if dealing with a small set of such notifications, i usually scan the list immediately upon opening it, and open the observations i’m interested in in other browser tabs so that they don’t become inaccessible later.
it may be important to note that this includes other kinds of notifications, including notifications triggered by subscriptions, regardless of whether or not these are related to your observations (which do not appear at all in the speech bubble list).
it looks like roserobin also makes identifications on other people’s observations. so any updates related to those will not be included in the “your content” section of the dashboard.

if interested in notifications related to observation updates (not journal posts, flags, subscriptions, etc.), then you can see these – old and new – in the Activity tab in the mobile apps.
