Lexicons displayed after alternate names for multilingual places are not translated

Platform: Website

Browser: Chrome & Firefox

URLs: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/… (See examples below)

Description of problem:
When multiple names are set for a place the lexicon displayed in brackets following an ALIAS/AKA name is not translated to the current iNat site language.

Note: To change site languages use the dropdown at the very bottom of the page, on the right.

Example A
Assumes iNat site language set as English.

  1. Change the place for common names to ‘Canada’
    Account Settings > Content & Display > Names > Prioritize common names…

  2. Go to https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/4621-Gavia-pacifica
    CA-En
English Name with AKA french name (French) [as expected]

  3. Change the site language to ‘français’ (French),
Not ‘Français (Canada)’ as that has another issue that will be confusing in this example
    page will reload:
    CA-fr
Shouldn’t the lexicon in brackets following the ALIAS name be translated to ‘Anglais’?

Example B

  1. Change site language back to English

  2. Change the place for common names to ‘Chile’
    Account Settings > Content & Display > Names > Prioritize common names…

  3. Go to https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/39111-Liolaemus-tenuis
    CL-en
There is no English name set for Chile, both names are Spanish with the AKA name followed by (Spanish) [as expected]

  4. Change the site language to ‘Español’ [Spanish], page will reload:
    CL-es
Shouldn’t the lexicon in brackets following the ALIAS name be translated to ‘Español’?
