Map display not using correct coordinates

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.): Coordinates associated with the picture are displayed but when map is opened the coordinates are different. Tried to manually input coordinates and problem persists. I don’t know if other users are able to see the correct location label or just the map display

Step 1: observe location tag/description on map

Step 2: open up map

Step 3: map coordinates are in ocean around Greenland and not in oregon

there’s no bug here. even if your location description is right, your coordinates are wrong. so just fix your coordinates, and all will be fine.

Yes, once created, the location description is just shown as text - editing it won’t change the location. You need to either edit the coords directly or move the location pin via the map interface.
