I couldn’t find a report from you, but this is also the same bug.
I thought I had documented it originally, in fact my text suggests I did, but maybe they got merged too or just copied over and mine deleted.
FYI: I tried toggling a DQA criterion off/in to trigger reindexing, as was done to resolve the issue in another bug report, but it didn’t work for my examples.
The observation @erwin_pteridophilos gave should be fixed now, as well as a bunch of others. We think the bug that caused this has been fixed, but the photos that had already been affected by it were not updated. Any other examples?
I’ll keep an eye out. I haven’t gone through all the pages of resolved copyright flags, but so far the only ones still missing seem to be ones that were later flagged again.
Ok, I just went through every resolved copyright infringement flag on content type photo where the resolution wasn’t deleting the photo, and so far, unless they were flagged again, they are all back (including those previously affected) . Thanks, I’ll mark your reply as the solution.

Re-opening this because there still seems to be an issue with some externally sourced images. See https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/502656
OK, media should no longer be hidden in these cases. I had to unresolve then re-resolve the photo in question and it’s showing now.
It’s resolved on the wikimedia one. It’s not resolved on the 2 from Google Street View.
It’s not retroactive, it only prevents it from happening from now on. Did you unresolve and re-resolve them?
I can’t resolve them; I’m not a curator.
Do you have direct links to those?
Yes, I put them in the comments on the flag @jdmore posted.
Here they are:

I just unresolved and tried to re-resolve each of these, and in each case got the whale shark when I tried to re-resolve.
Same here. I’ll add to my weekly report.
