I realized that when adding a new taxon name, in the Lexicon sections appears Mapudungun and Mapuche, apparently, these two refers to Mapudungun (also know as Mapuzungun), the language Mapuche people speak, a group of indigenous inhabitants of south-central Chile and southwestern Argentina.
Having said that, my request is that species names under the Mapuche lexicon could be grouped or merged with those that are in the mapudungun lexicon, making this lexicon the only one available, erasing the Mapuche lexicon. I ask for this, as it is not correct to reffer to Mapuche as language / language. Is that possible? I didn’t saw a way to flag a lexicon…
(moving this to General) Unless they’re translated for the site and app, lexicons are a bit of a free-for-all, kind of like observation fields are. I can see if they can be merged though.
