I wanted to invite everyone to a bioblitz hosted by @nschwab, its focus is on European fungi, myxomicetes and oomycots, it will start in a day at October 3 and will go on till October 18 (with uploads opened to Oct 28), you can find more info about it in a project journal, please join! https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/mycoblitz-europe-fall-2022

For those based in the UK this conveniently coincides with UK Fungus Day. Perhaps they should be contacted to add this to their list of events …

Awesome, thanks for sharing this cool event! I will definitely participate (in fact I already have a few fungus excursions planned in the time of the blitz), and will try and let some other people in my area know about it as well.

Thank you so much for sharing it on iNaturalist forum! I didn’t even think of doing it myself. I was away for the week-end so I couldn’t respond to you.
For those interested in my event, it starts today! It’s a very good weather for fungi in my area so I hope it will also be the same for all participants. Best luck on your finds to everyone!

Thank you for organizing it! I also asked people in some regional project to join, now there’re 100 participants! It’s raining constantly here, good for fungi, but not as good for going out!.)
