Number of photos in an observation?

Is there a way in Explore to see the number of photos in an observation?

Using the website version, I can see the number of comments in an observation and how long ago the observation was posted but not the number of photos in it.

When I’m attempting to use iNat observations to learn how to distinguish a particular plant species, it would be useful to be able to tell at a glance which observations consist only of the “thumbnail” photo versus ones that have additional photos that might document the species more thoroughly.

Note: I gather from a previous discussion here that “number of photos” is a data field that shows up when groups of observations are dowloaded but I’m not doing downloads. I would just like to see this on-line.

I suspect this must exist somewhere but I can’t find it! Thanks for any help.

The number does show up for me in the bottom left corner of the “thumbnail” image (see red circles). The number there corresponds to how many images there are, a “+” means there are more than n number of pictures. I have forgotten the exact amount, 10 maybe?

The number shows up in either “grid” or “list” view.

Here’s what I see in Explore/Grid and in Explore/List ; there’s no indication of the number of photos:

Look closely at the very first observation. It’s in the lower left corner.
