Observation count under 'taxonomy' tab on taxon pages incorrect

Screenshots of what you are seeing:

Go to taxonomy tab: grafik

Click links on some species with a non-zero count, e.g.:

Find zero observations in the Explore page

Description of problem:
Among the species list overview on the genus taxon page, the numbers of several taxa link to Explore results with zero observations.
Including IDs of that taxon not matching the community ID (3rd URL above), the result is still zero, so I have no idea what these numbers are based on

sidenote: the generic name of the example genus does not match the taxon page genus, but I don’t think this caused the issue

Also strange that there appear to be species from three genera (Aecidium, Uredo, and Uromyces) in genus Uromyces. There was a previous taxon change adding Uredo to Uromyces. I wonder if something went wrong there causing the issue?:

Maybe worth raising a flag on Uromyces?

No, I am already in contact with ‘rust fungus experts’ and they should and will sort out these matters (it’s a mess! If you want to go down the rabbit hole, spend some time on ‘one fungus, one name’ discussions…).
But let’s not get there, at least not if there is no connection with this bug report

Could still be an indexing bug. Did you try deactivating and reactivating the species?
