Description of problem: Observations by people I’m following appear on my home page. They should also appear under the speech bubble to the right of the envelope when I click on it, but they don’t.
Step 1: Follow someone who observes.
Step 2: Click on someone’s name to see if there are updates to observations, flags, etc. There are six (four of them turned out to be the observer vacillating between Insecta and Orthoptera on his observation).
Step 3: Go back to the home page and hit refresh. The Japanese beetle was the last update the last time I refreshed the page; the Cope frog is the first update that appeared under the speech bubble.
Step 4: Two observations by gillydilly, whom I’m following, appear in the home page, but did not appear under the speech bubble.
