Observations don't upload into a project

There are no exclusion filters either.

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

I’ve already searched if anyone else had this problem, but I don’t think I found it in the iNat forum. Here’s the problem:

I invited a friend to join iNaturalist. However, none of her observations are loaded into the project (link above). I am the administrator of this project, and all the informations are correct in it.
In my friend’s profile settings (https://www.inaturalist.org/people/2947869), the “project settings” option is set to “all”.

The problem is not related to the accuracy of the GPS either, because the project boundaries are the country borders, so the observation and its accuracy circle is within the project boundaries. However, the observations are not loaded into the project (example with this observation: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/45692615).

I don’t know if this is a setting to change in the profile parameters, or just a bug with the observations. If you have any advice, I’ll be glad to take it !

The observation is “in” the project. Users must join a collection project to have that project be listed on the observation details page, and the iNaturalist user paulou is not a member of this project

I didn’t know that the project does not appear on the observations if the person has not joined the collection project.
I feel almost dumb that I didn’t check if the observations were in the project
