It’s a bit hard to explain, but basically there are a number of observations of Gaearis rotundifolia that have somehow gotten stuck as the inactive taxon (and old synonym) of Amerorchis rotundifolia. The easiest way to explain is probably just to show the link: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?locale=en-US&subview=grid&taxon_id=155625
Did choose one … added another ID … problem resolved:

Huh, that’s odd. At least one is accepting the taxon changes without disagreement, but showing as Mavericks: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/7651787
Haven’t checked the others yet.
Ah, and apparently that “taxon swap creates maverick IDs” is reported here: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/incomplete-taxon-swap-bug-creating-two-maverick-ids-and-no-agreeing-ids/4295/9
I wonder if the other observations in the grid you provided are all showing the same bug?
[Addendum: yep, they are. Huh, that gives them a lot of examples for that other topic]
