On the first search after opening the Android app, results never load for certain taxa

Description of problem:

Step 1: Open Android app

Step 2: Search “lecanoromycetes”

Step 3: Results don’t finish loading, with the exception of red dots on the map view

Searching again shows results, so it’s not a big deal, just a minor nuisance. It also only seems to happen with certain taxa: I couldn’t replicate with “mammals”, for example, but could with “perching birds”.

I adjusted to this as a feature, but this is indeed the case. I have had this for many months, at least.

And may I add that to me it is not for certain taxa, but for every new search after opening the Explore tab. A concurrent search yields results.

I have the same problem over mobile data but it works fine over wifi. Also, sometimes photos never load over mobile.
