"Places" extremely limited for project

I have a project that I have created. I used the only place that I could find in the area, which was a park, but the boundary is too tight, and doesn’t include a lot of the finds in the area. This is a dive site, where divers enter from a park beach. I’ve tried searching for the town, since it is the only dive site in the town, but even the town does not show up as a place. I’ve been trying to log my own observations with the actual dive site name, to maybe trigger a new place, but I have no idea how that actually works.

You need to add a new place, it can’t be triggered by observations, you need a kml file, go here: https://www.inaturalist.org/places/new

Shoot. I just hit 50 observations myself, so I don’t have the option yet. Hopefully it happens quickly. Thanks so much!!
