Description of problem: I am not able to add my observations to a project that I should be able to add to. All the requirements are met but I am unable to select the project, whether I’m doing it during first observation or editing an already posted observation. I’ve attempted this on the browser as well and cannot. My friends have been able to submit to this project with no issues so I am confused on what may be wrong with my app, account, or observations.
The linked project is a collection project, ie it automatically collects records based on its defined filters. It is not possible to manually add observations to a collection project. The reason your linked bee observation is not going into the project is that the accuracy circle of the location is too large, and is breaking the bounding box around the defined place. Reduce that accuracy value, and it should enter the project
I’m having the exact same problem and reducing the size of the location dot did not solve the problem. I also moved it well within the parameters and I’m still getting the red line around the project box . Edit - this did fix the problem but I had to do a max reduce and move the dot farther away from the location than I wanted. Sort of lame that you get locked out if it overlaps a tiny bit on the forbidden zone.
please provide a link to the observation and the project
