Project 'Wanted: Ground squirrel & Hamster'

Hi, I don’t know whether that’s really a bug, but the coordinates of new project members (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/wanted-ground-squirrel-hamster) are still obscured although they made them visible within the project group…

Platform: Win11

Are you saying these users have trusted the project with the coordinates, but you can’t see them? Did you look at the individual observations? I don’t think they show up on the Explore or project maps.

I think more info will be needed to determine if there is any bug here. Screenshots of the project settings and examples of observations that have coordinates obscured in the project when they should not be would be needed.

Sorry for answering that late, I thought I’d get notified… anyway, just to give examples of what I mean:

This is an observation from a colleague who joined my project on 31.01.2026 - accuracy 2m:

And this is from another colleague who joined the project on 17.02.2026. Like the one from the 1st example, he trusted the project with the coordinates - but they are still obscured…

We’re currently investigating a bug regarding trust and collection projects, I suspect this is related.
