Update: I also tried more than one project, same issue. Basically, when you go to add it on that side widget it shows up for a second and then disappears.

Wonder if this has to do with the larger problem of the IDs not sticking correctly (see e.g. https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/ids-not-showing-up-but-id-of-observation-changing/75454/3 )

Ya, seeing that. Also saw some reports of things popping up to RG without IDs. Thinking there might be a bug somewhere on the algorithm that dictates user interactions/edits. There seems to be a pattern right now.

I just had that same issue too! I tried to add an observation that wasn’t mine to a project. I was able to add the observation field, but the project wouldn’t “stick“.
