Species ID not changing appropriately - zombie IDs?

Please fill out the following sections to the best of your ability, it will help us investigate bugs if we have this information at the outset. Screenshots are especially helpful, so please provide those if you can.

Platform (Android, iOS, Website): Website

App version number, if a mobile app issue (shown under Settings or About):

Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : Chrome

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/47297393

Screenshots of what you are seeing (instructions for taking a screenshot on computers and mobile devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org/):

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: Go to URL as one example: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/47297393

Step 2: Note that disagreement that initially was “disagrees this is S. carnaria” somehow became “disagrees with Sarcophagidae” months later?

Step 3:

Note: Several fly experts went through and disagreed with IDs of Sarcophaga carnaria months ago. I am quite sure that these experts and myself specifically disagreed with “S. carnaria” when we made the corrected IDs. But now it appears that these “zombie” S. carnaria IDs popped up again and our more general IDs now look like they didn’t disagree with the species??

I’m going to close this to focus on the existing report.
