Description of problem: When using the URL above to see the observed native species in tunisia, I get what appears to be totally random taxa and not native ones, for example the top observation for me is for the Pea Blue which is not marked as native in tunisia in iNaturalist.
i don’t see any obvious problems with the way the native parameter is working.
while it’s true that Pea Blue is not listed as native in Tunisia, it’s more accurate that there is no establishment means defined for Pea Blue in Tunisia: https://www.inaturalist.org/check_lists/7659?taxon=121993.
but Pea Blue is defined as native in Africa (https://www.inaturalist.org/check_lists/313167?taxon=121993), and since Tunisia is part of Africa, Pea Blue in Tunisia gets defined as native.
Huh, that’s how it works. I guess I expected it to be based primarily on the country level. thank you.
