I am the administrator of a traditional project that was initially open to all, but I had to delete most members and change the project to by invitation only due to observations being added that didn’t match the project criteria.
The problem: I wanted to make one of the current members a curator, but it wouldn’t allow that - got the following error message → Project user was invalid: User hasn’t been invited to this project
Thats true - they were never invited, since they had joined before the change. If you try to invite a current member, you get the following: Invited user is already a member of that project
I found a temporary work around by changing the project back to open to all, making the member a curator, then changing the project back to invitation only.
I’m assuming this isn’t how this should work.
