Browser, (Chrome):
The “&verifiable” clause is being omitted from the displayed url when used in the filters, and behaves illogically (it reverts to default) when it is used and the page refreshed.
click Explore (e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations)
click Filters
untick Verifiable > Update Search
Click Filter > Introduced > Update Search
- url: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?introduced&place_id=113055&subview=table
- instead of https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?introduced&place_id=113055&subview=table&verifiable=any
Click Filters > tick Verifiable > Update Search
Simply: I cannot send the url to a colleague to display the same data.
Worse. If I do amend or correct the url - e.g.
- url: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?introduced&place_id=113055&subview=table&verifiable=any
and a then amend the filter
e.g. click Filters > click icon plants > Update Search
the url drops the verifiable clause but displays as if it was there: - url: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?introduced&place_id=113055&subview=table&iconic_taxa=Plantae
But if I reload or refresh the page, then the results change to those for
- verifiable=true:
? Can the url please be made consistent with the data being displayed by ensuring that the clause “&verifiable=” behaves in an appropriate and logical manner, and is not dropped from the url bar when in use.
??? is this related to the 2020 issue:
https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/verifiable-false-in-url-strange-behaviour/9682
I am not sure if that was resolved.
