I am hosting a bioblitz at a State Park. A project for this park already exist. Should i use it and build on it, or make a new project? it was formed in 2019.

If the BioBlitz is for a particular period of time, then you will need a new project to cover the time period. If there is already a project collecting observations made in the park, all your BioBlitz observations will probably automatically be in that older project anyway. That may depend on the criteria the project has set up though. And as someone else would own the existing project, you would not be able to change the criteria to suit yourself and would be vulnerable to the owner changing or deleting their project.
