Why is New Zealand not a part of The Great Southern Bioblitz

Pretty much just the question, I quite enjoy in participating in Boiblitz challanges and this one looked fantastic however when I looked closely New Zealand was not included in this challenge.
I was wondering if anyone knows why this is the case and if they would be able to add New Zealand into the umbrella project as its own project for this event before the 24th of November when it starts.

I’ve got to get our links added to the GSB Google spreadsheet so that they can be transferred across to the main umbrella project. It’s on my to-do list for this week. :-)
