Cannot load suggestions: Request failed: forbidden (403)

I am unable to get ID suggestions on Wifi or mobile data on the IOS App. I get the same error 403

I have tried logging out and back in and I’ve tried reinstalling the App.
Please advise.

Are you uploading a new observation, or is it an existing observation (which one?)?

I was trying to upload a new one. I get the same whichever I try to upload. I have cleared the cache and reinstalled.

Are you able to get suggestions if you use the iNat website on the same wifi or cell network?

Yes thanks. App is working properly this morning. Just a glitch I guess.

Back to failing again today.

Tried logging in/out, clear cache, reinstall etc.

Tried it at home now and get the same result on Wifi. Website version is fine.

Turns out it was an iPhone fail to do with a McAfee VPN update blocking iNat and other Apps. Just in case anyone gets the same.
