Extremely annoying: zoom level not kept

when I zoom into an area on the map & click on an observation, then click “back” button, the zoom area CHANGES (the map area gets much, much greater)… this is not a feature request, because there’s no way that this behavior is how inat is supposed to work! I should literally go BACK to the view I had before I clicked on the observation, INCLUDING the same zoom level. Incredibly annoying. Somebody, please fix! Thanks! (using inat on win10pro64 & latest chrome)

Zoom level is set per observation, intentionally by the system depending on the method of uploading, so as far as I can tell, there isn’t a bug here.

If you have a proposed change, please check existing topics to see if they cover your request and fill out the form in that category if they do not.
