I’ve had pretty bad art block lately, but I want to get back in to drawing birds, so it would be very nice if you could share some of your favorite photos for me to draw!
I think this one is good without the pine needles, very cute!!

Maybe you could try one of my favourite images that I’ve ever taken. It’s my version of David Yarrow’s ‘Jaws’ photograph.
Wow. I’m almost afraid to ask, but what is going on here? Could you provide a link if this is on iNat? ![]()

I have a regular photo as well as a high key version there.
If you find high key photography inspiring then https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/282749747 might be fun.
Wow! That’s amazing! You are very talented!

Hmm, I suppose my profile picture is an option:
Well, since that’s one terrible photo, why not two?
Btw, that sparrow drawing is great! I’m a terrible artist, I guess I’ll stick to photography for the time being. :)
It is NOT a terrible photo! It is a gorgeous photo! I think it is a great macro shot, and it complements your username!
Me too! Extremely flighty birds, but after awhile it’s possible to get individuals relaxed near humans. I had a bunch in my yard, that were so used to my presence, they would just walk over and circle me as if saying “hello”. And again, wonderful photo, truly did the bird justice!
The poor old Cormorants were doing all the hard work by diving down to get the Bream and the Pelicans were waiting on the surface to snatch them away. It was basically a big feeding frenzy. I’ve lived in this area most of my life and I’d never seen it like it was that day.
