How to add photos/records made by others to your project?

Login with using microsoft PC at website using Firefox

Step 1: I login into INaturalist and also my newly established project: “Plastics & Arctic Wildlife Interactions”

Step 2: I find relevant observations made by others on Arctic wildlife entangled in plastic that I want to add to my project,

Step 3: I do not have a buttom “add to project”, so I can link to the records made by others.

Step 3: I wonder if something are wrong in my settings for my project, or ?

Hi, if your account on iNaturalist is jakobs-au, please update your forum username to match that.

In order to manually add observations to a project, you’ll need to create a “traditional” project, not a “collection” project like the one in your link. More info here: https://inaturalist.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/151000176472

However, It seems that can only select between “collection projects” and “umbrella projects” when I click on “start a project”.
So where do I find the entrance to make a “traditional project” ?

Creating a Project

To create a Project, go to the Start a Project page. You will the see large green buttons for starting a Collection or Umbrella project. If you meet the requirements to create a Traditional project, look for a link in the bottom paragraph of that page.

You must make at least 50 verifiable observations before you can create a new traditional project. Here’s our reasoning for this requirement.
