I’ve added the observation field to several observations. Is there anything else I have to do to get them added to the project? I clicked on “add observations” on the project page, but I got the (old) form for adding (or editing) a new observation.

Yes, with Traditional Projects you have to join. And upload manually. Per iNaturalist help pages: “A user must also join a Traditional project in order to add their observations to it.” https://help.inaturalist.org/en/support/solutions/articles/151000176472-understanding-projects-on-inaturalist

Actually, a user must join a Traditional project in order to add observations to it, but once a member one can also add observations by other observers to it. (I do that a lot.)

I can’t see any reason to become a member just to add one observation. If they want my scorpion, they know where it is, I’ve provided a link.

Thanks! I didn’t know that, but I should have realized it, because people have sometimes added my observations to projects. That’s generally how I learn about fun projects!
