Observation images hosted on Amazon AWS not loading

For the last half hour or so, I haven’t been able to load any observation images (anywhere on the site, including thumbnails) unless they are the fully copyrighted ones that are hosted directly on iNaturalist. The ones hosted on Amazon AWS (most of them) won’t load. I’ve tried in Chrome and Safari. Is anyone else noticing this problem? (I’m located in Honduras.)

If I try to load one of the images directly, it just times out with the error “inaturalist-open-data.s3.amazonaws.com took too long to respond.”

It’s working fine for me.

Looks like it might be a routing issue between Honduras and the U.S. (as my traceroute never makes it past Honduras).

Yep, I can’t even get to amazon.com. Anyway, seems to be specific to Honduras, so nevermind!

This has been a problem on several service providers in US, Mexico and South Africa:
