Observation taxon did not change after adding contradicitive id

Description of problem:

There was an observation which had been identified by the user as Oxyrhachis. I identified it as Acanthophyes israelensis. Even then, instead of the observation id turning into Centrotinae, it remains Oxyrhachis. When I made the id and noticed this I ignored it thinking that it is a small error and will be fixed automatically but today again the observation id remains Oxyrhachis.

The user has opted out of Community ID, no?

Give him time. He suggested it himself, so perhaps when he logs back in (he has not been on since 5 April) and sees your ID, he might opt in to Community ID.

edit to add: on the website you can see the Community ID in the right-hand column. It is, as you said, Centrotinae.
