Why is the identification symbol pink? Can anyone answer?
A new ID or comment on your observation that you haven’t yet seen.
This seems to be fairly buggy. You can see that there is only one ID, which is presumably from the initial upload. I often get pink icons show up after refreshing when there aren’t any unread notifications.
I’ve found that it turns pink when there’s any change to the observation, including annotations, favorites, observation fields, etc. I don’t know if the new app under development handles this more sensibly.
That could be. Sometimes I think it also happens when a notification is viewed on desktop instead of the app.
